The decision to attend is a huge one, in terms of time and money, and we want to provide you with the tools to make that decision and to begin the application process. Ann Perry and Bill Chamberlain bring extensive backgrounds in law school admissions and law school career services. We look forward to speaking with you and answering your questions.

About the Presenters: 

candaceBill Chamberlain brings over twenty years of experience heading up the career services offices at four law schools to his role with UChicago’s Career Advancement team. He also practiced law in the private and public sectors. Now he enjoys counseling undergraduate students and alumni of the College as they consider careers in law and as they apply to law school. He is pleased to work on-on-one with alumni through each step of the process. Bill received his BA from Cornell University, an MA in American Studies from Purdue University, and his JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. In his free time, Bill is an actor and a singer in Chicago’s excellent theater scene.

lindaAnn Perry has been the Associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid at the University of Chicago Law School since August, 2002. She oversees all aspects of the admissions process including scholarship. Prior to joining the University of Chicago Law School community, Ann was the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Financial Aid at the University Of Illinois College Of Law. She also spent two years doing alumni and development work at the University of Illinois College of Law. Her volunteer work in the admissions area includes committee work for the Law School Admissions Council including membership on Services and Programs Committee, the subcommittee on Misconduct and Irregularities in the Admissions Process, the Newcomer’s Planning Committee and chairing the Annual Meeting Planning Committee in 2012. Prior to entering law school administration, she was an associate at Stellato & Schwartz in Chicago. Ann received two degrees from the University of Illinois, A.B. in Political Science in 1989 and J.D. 1993.
